Games

At The Rock Youth Center the volunteers try to play some fun and sometimes weird games just to have fun and give the kids a chance to win some money. Participation in all games is voluntary, though sometimes we do require that everyone sit in the main room while the game is going on. We also try to limit the games to 30 to 60 minutes.

Here are some game rules:

1. We do record some of the games we play which are then uploaded to the internet. All kids are made aware of the recording and what will be done with it before they are asked who wants to play.

2. The audience can cheer or holler for contestants, but no booing or mean language is allowed.

3. If the game involves food or drink, all food and beverages must be safe for consumption. They may not taste the best, but they will not harm anyone. We do ask about food allergies before we play.

4. For games such as the High/Low game at the end of the night, the computer is used to randomly choose names from those in attendance. The software we use will randomly choose a name each time we click on the dice on the screen, the volunteers have no control over the names that appear.

5. Some games require that you show your Rock Card in order to claim your prize. A new card costs $1 and must be purchased prior to trying to claim the prize.
